swissQprint at FESPA in Munich

Press release from the issuing company

swissQprint will be presenting its latest UV flatbed and roll to roll printers at the Fespa Global Print Expo in Munich. The spotlight will be on differentiation opportunities for print service providers, not least in result of the machines’ cost-effectiveness and sustainability.

From 23 to 26 May 2023, swissQprint will be welcoming visitors to the Fespa Global Print Expo in Munich at stand D30 in hall A1. They will see three models from the latest generation of machines in operation: the Nyala and Kudu flatbed printers, and the dedicated roll to roll printer Karibu. Supplementing the live experience will be an application gallery illustrating the versatility of the large format printers. And there will be a special exhibition devoted to UV printing with neon inks, a swissQprint exclusive.

“We aim to show print service providers how they can hold their own in the market”, says Carmen Eicher, Chief of Sales and Marketing Officer at swissQprint, “and by that we mean at all levels: quality, range of applications, profitability and environmental protection.”

Latest generation of printers
The latest print head technology features in both current swissQprint product lines – UV flatbed and roll to roll printers. According to the company, precise droplet placement coupled with a maximum resolution of 1350 dpi mean a whole new level of output quality for users.

Carmen Eicher: “We invite visitors to see for themselves at the printer presentations.” Nyala 4 will show why it has been Europe’s best-selling flatbed printer in its class for eight years. Kudu, the new high-end flatbed printer, will demonstrate its mix of elevated speed and premium output quality. The Karibu 2 roll to roll printer demonstrations will focus on unique features contributing to its efficiency and versatility, according to Eicher.

The entire swissQprint range is highly energy efficient according to the ISO 20690 standard, as recent third-party testing has verified. “This is just one of the factors contributing to sustainability and profitability”, Carmen Eicher emphasises.

Going beyond conventional applications
In addition to light colours, there are also white, effect varnish and spot colours such as orange, neon pink and neon yellow (exclusive to swissQprint) available for all printers. This means system users can offer their customers a full spectrum of applications, from conventional productions to tactile and visual enhancements.
